Oh yes, definitely, the sound IS better higher up. I said in my review (http://caz963.livejournal.com/385544.html") that it's a long time since I've been to the RAH, and one of the reasons I avoid it is because I don't like the acoustic. It's never loud enough when it should be blowing your head off and I want to reach for the volume button! But the Proms atmosphere made up for it.
