Shows are always cheaper before 'preview night' (which is the date when the press come, and review the show). Preview tickets are cheaper because you are taking a risk on an unproven, unreviewed show. Once reviews come out in newpapers, etc, and it is good, more people will try and get tickets. Therefore, first few weeks are always the best.
