I too have left some books randomly in public transport and am now eagerly awaiting people to enter the codes on book crossing (so far only 1 person has done so).
The book you hadn't heard off I am assuming is Stuart: A Life Backwards? It was a BBC drama a while back which was a really interesting movie and I am currently reading the book myself, I find it amazing. Have you started it yet?
