Arrived safely

Just a quick entry to let everyone know I arrived safely. Journey went smooth, room's okay and good to find, not far from downtown so that's all cool. I hardly did anything mentioning worthy thus far. I had the orientation course today, was interesting, didn't leave me with any less questions though. Been running around the city, arranging stuff all day. Doesn't really feel like I accomplished anything though. Doesn't really help I didn't get half of the things done yet *sigh* O well we always have tomorrow. Now I have to leave to pick up my brand new cell phone. Yup I got well -correction- bought a phone through Swap (the backpackers organization). It's a blue Samsung with camera. Costed $90 and there's already $50 airtime on there. I can also use it in the Netherlands, which is handy, since my other phone isn't perfect anymore.... Bye for now I have to run back into the never stopping rain. God, don't we love rain season?

Even een kort berichtje om te laten weten dat ik goed ben overgekomen. De reis verliep uitstekend, de kamer is prima en niet ver van het centrum, dus dat is allemaal goed. Ik heb eerlijk gezegd nog niet veel gedaan waar ik over kan schrijven. Ik heb de orientatiecursus gehad, was interessant, maar ik heb nog genoeg vragen voor zometeen. Voor de rest een beetje door de stad gerend, om van alles te gaan regelen. Maar het voelt niet alsof ik nou echt iets gedaan heb, en het helpt niet dat de helft van mijn lijstje nog niet is gelukt... *zucht* Maar ja, er is altijd nog morgen. Nu moet ik er zo weer vandoor om mijn nieuwe mobieltje om te halen. Jawel, ik heb een mobiel gekregen -correctie- gekocht via Swap (de backpackersorganisatie). Een blauwe Samsung met camera. Hij kostte 90 dollar en er zit al 50 dollar beltegoed op. Ik kan het ook in Nederland gebruiken, wat handig is, aangezien mijn oude vetrouwde mobieltje niet meer al te best is. Doei voor nu, ik ga mezelf weer in de stromende giet wagen. Geweldig he, regenseizoen?
