Or Merry Christmas to those of you who have no clue what I'm on about and assume I've been sipping mulled wine since I woke up (for the record I haven't. 'Meretricious' is a Sherlock reference - what else did you expect!). I hope each and every one of you has a great one! ♥ ♥ ♥ I shall be spending mine with my family, doing very little (besides hanging on the couch with a fleece and a good book and possibly trying my hands at some cooking and baking) and trying not to think of the fact that I have to brave the weather in a few short weeks again to try to get back to England…

P.S. Jen & Geoff were over last night and we were playing Just Dance together and we all did some NKOTB boy band dancing and there was a "red light, green light" challenge where we all had to freeze during certain moves - it was hilarious, it would have been so funny to see what we looked like!

That's a fair bit of snow you got there. One of the people sitting next to me on the plane out to California (I'm visiting my brother's family for the holiday) was on his way back home from the Netherlands and almost didn't get out because of the weather there. Glad you guys survived.

You have seen Sherlock, haven't you? In the third episode when they are looking the dead guard that lay at the side of the Thames at one point Sherlock says "meretricious" and Lestrade answers with "happy New year" XD
