I've booked through Travel Active in the Netherlands and SWAP was their partner organisation in Canada so my info/experience might be difference from yours. $2000 sounds very excessive though, it should incl the flight fees too, right??? At least it does here and it's cheaper to book through an orgaisation than by yourself. It usually also incl. free stopovers each way as well. SWAP personally wasn't too great (though in a way I got my jobs because I was with them) but for you you have to look what their partner organisation is you'll deal with in the country of your choice, that's who's important to you.
