Spring time!

I have been feeling quite down lately because of the lack of success in my job hunting and the increasing stress and money worries that come with that but today's sunny weather certainly lifted my mood somewhat (I was able to wear a t-shirt instead of a hoodie, omgwtfbbq!). And I decided to spend some time outside with my camera as it's been ages since I have taken the time for photography (stage door pictures hardly count). My camera is absolutely rubbish as I am still using the compact one I bought in a rush in the US when my other one broke down (a proper DSLR is on my to wish list for when I actually manage to find a job) and I still cannot figure out how to upload pictures to Facebook without them being resized and turning slightly grainy but even so I wanted to share a few of the photos:











































Can anyone recommend me nice parks or gardens to visit in London? I don't mean a general place such as Hyde Park but somewhere a little more colourful where I will be able to photograph the up and coming Spring flowers (wildlife a bonus!). Many thanks ♥

I've heard people recommend Kew Gardens in West London. Never been there myself though.

Whoops, sorry, I didn't even know that Kew Gardens charged an entrance fee! So used to most stuff like that in London being free!

Yes me too, which makes it extra annoying when something isn't! It's alright though, I'll still keep it in mind for when I have more cash again :)

Aww thanks <3 If you look closely though the outlines of the flowers have a weird grainy layer over them which Facebook always does to my pictures (the originals look better) which is so annoying :/

Yeah I know I can use another website (though PB resizes the quality of pictures after a few weeks too unless you change it to PNG and I have never been able to figure out making folders in Scrapbook) but I really want to know what I am doing wrong with FB and change it because I still pefer to upload my travel pics there so my family can see them too (most my LJ posts are locked).

Snow? O_O Holy shit. Thank goodness we don't. Although I think we had snow at Easter in the Netherlands last year which was a bit insane. i really hope that Spring is here to stay now!

However I like your idea of St James Park! It's close to Buckingham Palace too and I remember living the flowerbeds in front of there too :)

Yay! I'm so glad it's Spring! Definitely my favorite season! I love how the weather during spring isn't too hot or too cold just in between! But yeah it hasn't been like that here in Cali. Been raining for the past several days and we still have another storm coming. :( Not how I wanted to start off spring. lol. I can't wait to wear my other clothes that aren't jackets or hoodies! Gonna be great to wear flowy tops and such!
