Yesterday I bought tickets to the new Harry Potter movie and a Simple Plan concert :D Finally I get to see one of my favorite bands! Wooto! As Lauren would say *snicker* Only annoying thing is that it is November 23rd, one day before the hockey game. So that will be two nights with not so much sleep. O well I can do that for Simple Plan :D

Besides the ticket buying I went out to look for a job, subscribed myself to several temp. job agencies and bought a poppie. That’s a red flower to remember the Canadians that died in WW2. This Friday it’s Remembrance Day see ;)

[Nederlands]

Gisteren heb ik kaartjes gekocht voor de nieuwe Harry Potter film (nov. 18) en een Simple Plan concert! Wooto! Zoals Lauren zou zeggen :D Simple Plan is een van mijn fav. bands en nu kan ik ze eindelijk zien. Wel jammer dat het concert de 23ste is, want de 24ste is de hockeywedstrijd (twee dagen weinig slaap dus) maar dat heb ik wel voor ze over.

Naast het kopen van kaartjes heb ik gisteren uitgekeken voor een baan, mij ingeschreven bij 5 uitzendbureau’s en een poppie gekocht. Dat is een rode bloem (zie foto’s) ter nagedachtenis aan de gestorven Canadese soldaten in de 2e wereldoorlog. Het is vrijdag namelijk Remembrance Day.

Voor nu wat foto’s (de meeste zijn gisteren gemaakt omdat de zon eindelijk een scheen, vandaag is het weer schijtweer)

On Friday morning at 10:30am, there's always a Remembrance Day ceremony at Victory Square (on the corner of W Hastings and Cambie, downtown). You might be interested!

No I didn't know, thanks so much. But do the skytrains even ride? Because there was some sort of announcement saying they drove from 6.30 till 12.30 and I was wondering if that was 12.30 in the afternoon or night :$

I have not been to Stanley Park yet, but I very much want to. I just need a bike first and hope there will be a (few) shiny day(s) for me to explore that part of Vancouver (looks so great on pics etc.!)

those pics are awesome :D Can I say dude don't worry - it's been raining everywhere? LOL Even flooded Adelaide and washed away all the decorations I saw on Sunday after I left. Sadly I have no pics though cause we thought we wouldn't be allowed to take cameras into Kelly Clarkson :(

Great to get an insight into what's happening over there. Simple Plan *jealous* so cool that you're going though cause u did want to see them *nods* Um they are fantastic live *grin* Least they were when I saw them "before they were famous" *snigger* You're so taking advantage of everything while you're there... I get the feeling I would too if I were on that continent. hehe.

I need a friends filter LOL. I totally missed this post because it had been pushed off the page - so here I am now. Dude I miss you! :( You look all happy and stuff, but I still miss you. Umm, Harry Potter tickets!! I got mine today LOL wanted to share. Simple Plan *thumbs up* Awesomeness there!

Rememberance Day is also here tomorrow/Friday ;) As well as in the UK I believe, so Poppies will be all around Canada, The UK and Aus. So yah, just wanted to share that with you LOL.
